The PGHRA is excited to invite you to our special cultural event – “Exploring China’s Ethnic Minority Cultures”! This immersive experience will take you on a fascinating journey through the rich traditions of China’s 55 ethnic minority groups, featuring interactive activities, delicious food, and wonderful prizes!
Event Highlights:
- Cultural Presentations
We will give you a comprehensive introduction to China’s ethnic minorities: geographic distribution, languages, traditional costumes, and customs
Special focus on the Yi, Uyghur, and Hui ethnic groups with in-depth exploration of their unique traditions
- Fun Knowledge Competition
Test your knowledge in our interactive quiz with fascinating prizes:
1st Prize: Ethnic-style shawl + necklace + cloth bag
2nd Prize: Ethnic-style necklace + cloth bag
3rd Prize: Ethnic-style cloth bag
All participants will receive a beautiful ethnic-style bracelet!
- Authentic Food Tasting
Sample traditional snacks including flower cakes, beef jerky, milk dates, dried grapes, and more…
- Photo Experience
Dress up with ethnic-style props (headbands, scarves, forehead ornaments)
Take home instant Polaroid photos as souvenirs!

Register and pay the fee in cash at the hostels’ counters by 2 July
